Vertseas started in Scotland with a passion for the local sea glass going beyond collection.

Today, Vertseas is a creative space where I work in a variety of media, with my current favourite being polymer clay.

I am originally from Brazil, lived in the United Kingdom for over 15 years and I now live in sunny Portugal with my husband and my 11 years old daughter.

I am passionate about everything handmade; all of my pieces are personally handcrafted from start to finish.

I'm very conscious about reducing waste in my home studio and most pieces are produced in small batches. In production of the jewellery there is zero waste of product with every last piece of clay used in the production process, including baked pieces.

I love making pieces that can be worn on all occasions.

I create slow made, sustainable pieces of jewellery which demonstrate a timeless style in a world of ever changing fashion. 

My pieces of jewellery are elegant and easy to wear. 

In addition to the creation of contemporary jewellery designs which empower women, instilling feelings of positivity and confidence through accessories, Vertseas aims to be accessible and convenient to everyone.

We all need just the right pair of statement earrings or that unique necklace to perk up our daily outfit.
